In this short post, I wanted to show the last easy step of video post-processing in GoPro Studio (Step 3). Let’s see how to export your final family video.
After you have done the whole video editing job (created timeline, made the cuts and played with video settings as described in Step 2 of our tutorial) you just need to do the final step – export your family video.
Make sure you click on the tab STEP3 EXPORT (marked by 1. in the following picture) at the top of GoPro Studio.
You’ll see several options of export quality.
At first I wanted to choose the highest quality which gives me the best options for potential further editing in the future if necessary. I click on the “Archive/Edit” option (2.) and then set the quality to “HIGH” on the right side (3.).
Finally I exported the file (4.). Depending on how long is your video and how good is your computer, export might take some time. Expect anything between few minutes to even more than an hour.
Exporting Family Video for Youtube
I don’t want to upload the highest quality video on Youtube because it would take too much time.
So in the next step I repeat the whole export procedure again but this time I choose lower quality of export. You can see predefined option Youtube but I wasn’t satisfied by the quality so I rather choose HD 1080p. This will produce a lot smaller file than in previous step and export time will be shorter too.
Your video is finished! Upload it to social media you prefer and share your special moments with your friends, family or fans.
I hope you’ll create some great family video, let me know!
